In chapter 5, Dr. Rigden presents the use of screencasting to give visual and audible feedback to students. She describes how the use of this Web 2.0-technology has enabled faculty to make writing relevant to students by providing engaging feedback throughout the programme. This way of methodologically combining student work with active feedback has enhanced students’ learning experience. And as Dr. Rigden puts it, it has also improved students’ learning outcomes, as the feedback enables them to reflect on their own work and over time progress to learn academic writing skills.
